Responsive Settings

This area lets you Change the style/look for a tablet view and limited changes for a phone view.
In The Dashboard of your site:

  • Appearance -> Customize -> Responsive Settings

Sidebar(s) Placement

  • After Main Content – Many people prefer when a page is clicked on, on a smaller device, to have the Main Content Area display before the sidebar(s).

  • Before Main Content – The Sidebar(s) will appear before the Main Content Area.

Left Sidebar Tablet Width in % – You may have two sidebars and prefer them to display side by side on a tablet. Left and Right Sidebars width should not go over 100%. If you have margins, left and/or right you need to take that into consideration when deciding the sidebar’s width. For a phone each sidebar is 100% width.

Right Sidebar Tablet Width in % You may have two sidebars and prefer them to display side by side on a tablet. Left and Right Sidebars width should not go over 100%. If you have margins, left and/or right you need to take that into consideration when deciding the sidebar’s width. For a phone each sidebar is 100% width.

Content Widgets Width in % As a group of Content Widgets. If you have, for example, selected to display 3 Content Widgets, each set at 33.33% for Width of an Individual Content Widget in %, most people would choose to keep the setting of 100% width of the site. For a phone it is automatically set at 100%.

Width of an Individual Content Widget in % You may want each individual Content Widget to display at 50% the width of your site. That would put two Content Widgets side by side. For a phone each widget is automatically set at 100% width.

Margin Left of an Individual Content Widget in px for all but the first Widget You may want to not have Content Widgets abutting right next to each other, this would happen if you have Width of an Individual Content Widget in % set at 50% or lower. If you have Margin Left of an Individual Content Widget set above 0 you need to take that into consideration when deciding each individual widget’s width. For a phone since widgets are automatically set at 100%, there are no margins automatically.

When Done click Save and Publish
